Originally sold by Mark Hughes in February of 1980, Herbalife went on to be become an industry giant. Herbalife was created first and foremost to make money. However, they’ll say it was founded to help you as a consumer achieve optimum health and wellness. Herbalife’s mantra is about helping customers take control over their weight. Once upon a time, Herbalife’s weight loss products were based on ephedrine and other dangerous ingredients. After the ban, they were forced to reformulate like everybody else. We all know many companies tanked after they could no longer use ephedrine, but Herbalife continued on. Were they able to find alternatives to ephedrine that proved effective also?
Do HerbaLife Products Work?
Though they no longer use ephedrine, and struggled after the band, Herbalife hasn’t really manufactured anything we think is up to snuff to keep them in the supplement game. But for some reason, they’re still in business. Rather than coming up with new and effective alternatives, Herbalife plays it safe by using the most common ingredients they can find in the lowest amounts they can include. The result is a bunch of shoddy products that never measure up. They don’t bother using the clinically proven amounts of anything and yet their products still manage to cause side effects. We have yet to review any Herbalife product that has lived up to its claims. None of them have worked. We recommend staying away from anything with their label on it.
