BPI Sports 1.M.R is a new product designed to improve and optimize your workouts, but will it really make that big a difference? Obviously, the marketers of BPI Sports 1.M.R seem to think so. Their product is supposed to ultimately help you get bigger, stronger, and more capable of beating out the competition. While that sounds great and all we’re wondering if BPI Sports 1.M.R even works much less if it works the best.
So how does BPI Sports 1.M.R work?
BPI Sports 1.M.R has quite a few ingredients you will recognize. That’s because they are seen in just about every other supplement out there. Now this is not necessarily a bad thing. Many are used in every supplement, because they work. But unfortunately for BPI Sports 1.M.R, these ingredients are not actually included in the right amounts. On the other hand, their more unique ingredients are not applicable when it comes to weight loss. In the end BPI Sports 1.M.R is just a waste of ingredients, time, and money. Avoid this product.
L-arginine alpha keto-gluterate, Arginine HCL, Arginine ethyl ester, Taurine, N-acetyl-l-tyrosine, and L-leucine- These are all natural amino acids known for their ability to feed muscles. But they have never been shown to build muscle tissue or promote weight loss
Creatine monohydrate- This ingredient pushes water between skin and muscles to prevent muscle fatigue, speed up recovery time, and help you get more out of your workouts.
Methyl piparizine(ligustrazine)- This organic compound has been most commonly used as a treatment for roundworms. Since 1953, it has also been used as an anthelmintic. It effectively paralyzes parasites. However, it does not actually relate to bodybuilding or weight loss.
Salvia miltiorrhiza root- Also known as red sage, Chinese sage, tan shen, or dan shen, this herb has been highly valued in Eastern medicine. It has been used to prevent and treat heart conditions and it has been shown to protect the inner lining of arteries. However, it has never actually been tied to weight loss in any study.
Niacin- This essential B vitamin has been known to give some extra energy. However, it does not promote weight loss, and it has been known to cause flushing and redness in some users.
Vitamin C- Though this essential vitamin has been used to strengthen the immune system and skin, it is not a weight loss ingredient.
Acai berry- Though featured on various news stations and otherwise, this “superfood” is not actually connected to weight loss. It’s main function is to provide antioxidants which have not been proven to help the body burn fat.
Red wine extract- Coming from grapes and red wine, some have suggested that this powerful antioxidant could be responsible for both weight loss and other health benefits. However, recent studies have shown that it passes through the body too quickly to be absorbed.
Caffeine- This classic ingredient has been shown to produce a powerful thermogenic effect in the body if used in the right amounts. However, it also comes with the classic side effects of caffeine.
Guarana- This caffeine substitute is used as a natural energy supplement but it is not actually effective in promoting weight loss unless combined with damiana and yerba mate.
GABA(Gamma aminobutyric acid) – This amino acid has been used as a powerful neurotransmitter helping to improve mood and attitude. It relieves anxiety and stress which might help the body crave less food.
Yerba mate- This ingredient is used as a natural energy supplement in Brazil but it is not effective in promoting weight loss without both guarana and damiana.
Ginseng- Like GABA, Ginseng can also help with mood. But more specific to weight loss, ginseng has been proven to contain thermogenic properties.
Synephrine- Synephrine has been compared to ephedra in many of its effects. It is supposed to burn fat, suppress appetite, and increase energy, all without the side effects of ephedrine.
