Benefits of Aerobic Exercise

benefits of aerobic exercise

Aerobic, anaerobic, cardio– the list of gym jargon goes on forever, and you just want to lose weight without too much hassle. What do they all mean? How can you shed those stubborn pounds when you don’t know where to get started?

To help you answer your questions, we’ve assembled a basic guide on the benefits of Aerobic exercise, and with a few extra tips and pointers, you, too, can sound like a pro when it comes to tossing terms while losing weight.

What is It?

According to the American College of Sports Medicine, Aerobic Exercise is “any activity that uses large muscle groups, can be maintained continuously, and is rhythmic in nature.” Walking, jogging, running, swimming, biking – anything that gets your heart pumping and most of your body involved is a good example of Aerobic exercise (with the exception of strength training which counts as Anaerobic).

During Aerobic exercise, your muscles need more oxygen-rich blood in order to function. This demand forces your heart to beat faster and your lungs to work harder to keep up. As your body adapts to Aerobic exercise, your heart becomes stronger and your resting heart rate drops. Studies have shown that those who follow a regular aerobic routine are less likely to acquire intra-abdominal fat (the fat that surrounds organs), and are less likely to experience cardiovascular failure.

In simple terms: the more you move, the more calories you burn, and consequently, the more weight you lose.

Note: Cardio, cardiovascular exercise, and cardio-respiratory exercise are all terms that can be used interchangeably with Aerobic exercise.

Why Bother?

If you’re looking to lose weight and tone those muscles, then Aerobic exercise is the perfect solution to help you slim down and town up. No matter how old you are, where you come from, or what your current situation is, a little aerobic exercise can go a long way.

Studies have shown that Aerobic exercise can help do each of the following:

• Decrease BMI and control obesity
• Lower blood pressure and cholesterol
• Alleviate symptoms of anxiety, tension, and depression
• Improve cardiovascular (heart) health
• Increase energy levels

Tips to Get Started

How Often: Experts agree that most people should aim for at least 3 days of Aerobic exercise sessions a week (though the more you do, the more benefits you’ll receive).

How Much: How much Aerobic exercise you can handle, depends entirely on you. Keep in mind that if you’re just getting started, you’ll want to work into your routine gradually, and adjust your sessions to fit your needs. However, most aerobic exercise should be at a “moderate” intensity level if you want to experience the most benefits.

Note: If you’re not sure how much Aerobic exercise is too much, try the “talk test.” If you can carry a light conversation while exercising, then you’re doing good. Too much Aerobic exercise will result in halting, slow, or uncomfortable speech. Enjoy your Aerobic exercise with a partner and try the talk test yourself!

How Long: The great thing about aerobic exercise is that it can accumulate throughout the day, making it ideal for busy schedules. You can spread it out with several 10 minute sessions or you can block out your time for the full count. We recommend a minimum of 20 minutes per session, though the ideal is approximately 60 minutes.

Additional Tips:
benefits of aerobic exercise• Warm up before you exercise and cool down afterwards
• Stay hydrated
• Switch up your routine
• Be aware of your environment (take into account humidity, temperature, etc.)
• Consult your doctor before starting your routine
• Cease exercise if you experience any chest discomfort or dizziness*

*Note: Immediately stopping exercise can lead to fainting or even heart failure depending on your current condition. If you feel dizzy or in pain, slow down your intensity gradually until you come to a stop. This allows your heart rate to return safely to normal.

You can do it!

When used in conjunction with a healthy diet and a few of the best weight loss pills on the market, regular Aerobic exercise can help you burn more calories and lose more weight throughout the day. Hopefully with these basic tips and tricks, you’ll not only understand the benefits of Aerobic exercise, but you’ll be able to start making the most out of your next exercise regimen.

Water and Weight Loss

Water and Weight Loss

The human body is composed of about 60 percent water. Aside from oxygen, water is the most important nutrient for our bodies to stay alive. Every system in the body depends on water.

Benefits of Drinking Water

The benefits of drinking water are endless. Some of them include the following:

• Regulating and maintaining body temperature.
• Carrying oxygen and nutrients to all of the cells
• Moisturizing air in lungs
• Cleaning toxins from all body parts
• Increasing the immune system
• Digesting food
• Cushioning joints
• Helping the body fight against diseases
• Making hair look more shiny
• Making skin have a healthful glow.

With a list like this, it seems that most people would choose water as their beverage of choice. However, according to Discovery.com, the average American drinks 235 calories a day of sugary drinks and soda.

People may be surprised to learn that water can actually aid in weight loss.

Water and Weight Loss

Drinking enough water has proven to help people lose weight.

Drinking before Meals
According to WebMD, “Drinking water before each meal has been shown to help promote weight loss. Drinking just two 8-ounce glasses of water before meals helps people melt pounds away.”

The Journal of the American Dietetic Association, further explains that “people who drank water before meals ate an average of 75 fewer calories at that meal. That may not seem like much, but if you ate 75 fewer calories at lunch and dinner for the next year, you could lose about 14 ½ pounds!”

Differentiating Thirst and Hunger
It is very difficult for our bodies to differentiate thirst from hunger. If you are not getting enough water, you may fall into the trap of mistaking your thirst for hunger. In the long run, this will cause you to eat more than you really need, thus hindering weight loss.

Dehydration and Metabolism
Dehydration causes a drop in your metabolism (the rate at which your body burns calories). According to the Journal of the American Dietetic Association, “being even 1% dehydrated can cause a significant drop in metabolism…”

It is important to always drink enough water because when you feel thirst, you are already dehydrated.

Additional Ways Water can Help Promote Weight Loss:
• Water helps and encourages kidney function; this increases the liver’s ability to burn fat.
• Water acts as an appetite suppressant.
• Drinking lots of water can help reduce water retention. If the body does not frequently receive water, it is more likely to hold onto what little water that it has.
• Water helps the body function at its highest potential; this means it is easier for your body to burn fat.

Try a Diet Supplement

Water and Weight LossIf your diet is not proving to show results, you may want to consider adding a diet supplement to your lifestyle.

Like water, the best diet pills will help you lose weight.

Apidextra, a popular diet pill, helps you lose weight by suppressing your appetite, increasing your metabolism, and burning body fat.

Apidextra comes with a 100% Money Back Guarantee, so you can try it at absolutely no risk.

Fast Weight Loss Tips

We live in a world where you want things quickly – fast internet, fast cars, and fast results.

If you have tried extreme diets and controversial weight-loss methods, you probably aren’t seeing results the old fashioned way – diet and exercise.

Just take a minute and think about why you are overweight. The problem isn’t that you eat a pound of butter every day (usually), but because you have bad habits and aren’t able to control them.

Try this – rather than trying to kick them all at once, replace the bad with the good, one habit at a time. You will see better, longer lasting results, and you will feel healthier in no time.

1. Get Moving

No, we’re not telling you to hit the gym for hours every day. The key is to find convenient ways to get moving. Each movement burns calories and keeps you slimmer. Here are some easy ways:

-Choose physical activities that you like and incorporate them into your day

-Buy a step counter and count the steps you do everyday

-Park in the back of the parking lot and walk

2. No Crash Diets

These diets that promise rapid weight loss should be avoided. Initially they give you tips for rapid weight loss but in the long run they are very difficult to follow. Often these diets are very demanding and they are not providing the necessary nutrients to the body.

Diets that promise rapid weight loss, are suggesting that some foods ‘can burn fat quickly’, they usually promote one or two foods, have many rules on how to eat and they overall seem too good to be true.

3. Beware Yo-Yo Dieting

Many people that experience a weight loss have the tendency to regain their weight later. You can restrict this possibility by making permanent changes to your lifestyle and eating habits. The best tip to enhance your weight loss efforts is physical exercise. Regular physical activity and exercise plays an important role in maintaining body weight.

The following factors are important for permanent weight loss: changes in eating habits, regular exercise, realistic objectives and support from friends and family.

Although nobody would suggest that the Yo-Yo diets are good, there is little evidence that they are harmful to your health. However, the results are disappointing and may lead to reduced confidence and mobility.

You have to realize that in the period immediately after a weight loss you are at increased risk of gaining some weight and that you will need to take concrete steps to prevent it.

Remember to weigh regularly. If you notice your weight increasing, act immediately. Do not let a little failure to become a major problem.

3. Sip Some Green Tea

A recent study showed that green tea polyphenols and specifically katechines contribute to the increase of basic metabolism, helping the ‘combustion’ of fat.

If you don’t like the taste of green tea, or are not able to drink enough to get the benefits, you might look for a weight loss pill that contains green tea extract. The best weight loss pills will contains high concentrations of green tea extract to help you burn fat and mobilize fat stores.

4. Eat Regularly

A daily portion of 2,000 calories for example, can be spread into 3 or 5-6 meals. But when there is division into 5-6 smaller meals each day (e.g. breakfast, snack, lunch, afternoon, evening) then there are small (not big) changes to the levels of sugar in our body and especially of insulin, which is important for our metabolism and good ‘fat combustion’.

5. Drink Water

American Dietetic Association spokesperson Dawn Jackson Blatner, RD, recommends that you “Drink plenty of water so you don’t confuse hunger with thirst.” If you always keep a bottle of water with you and drink before every meal, you will eat less and drink less of the high-calorie drinks.

Conclusion

Pick a few of your weaknesses and replace them with healthy alternatives. If you are interested in the weight loss benefits of green tea extract, then we would recommend trying LipoFuze. It not only contains green tea, but also contains proven appetite suppressants and metabolism boosters, helping you see results faster.

Best of all, it is backed up with a 100% money-back guarantee. This means that you will see real change with LipoFuze, and if you don’t, it’s completely risk-free. Jump-start your diet today, and let these few tips help you see results.

2. Warm up – Ease into exercise. Begin with light cardio to warm up your muscles then gradually increase your intensity. Too much too fast will put your muscles into shock, causing painful muscle cramps.

preventing muscle cramps4. Stay hydrated – Water is a natural lubricant, and your muscles are approximately 80% water. The more you exercise the more water you lose via sweat. Keep drinking to keep the cramps at bay. Additionally staying hydrated can keep electrolytes in balance.

How to Boost your Metabolism

How to Boost your Metabolism For people who want to lose weight, boosting your metabolism is a sure-fire way to help. Your metabolic rate is the rate in which your body burns calories.

Some people are born lucky and have very high metabolisms. On average, men have higher metabolic rates than women, even while resting. For most people, your metabolism will start to steadily slow after you reach age 40.

Luckily, however, there are ways you can boost your metabolism. We’ve put together some quick facts for you so you can learn how to increase your metabolic rate.

Eat Breakfast

According to Barbara Rolls, PhD, Professor of Nutrition at Penn State University, “Your metabolism slows while you sleep, and it doesn’t rev back up until you eat again.” If you think you will lose weight from skipping a couple hundred calories in the morning, think again.

Avoid Extreme Calorie Cutting

It is easy to think that reducing the amount of calories you eat will help you lose weight. This is true when cutbacks are not drastic. However, when you cut calories by too many, you will actually prevent yourself from losing weight. According to Liz Applegate, PhD, Professor of Nutrition at the University of California at Davis, “…If you suddenly drop 1,000 calories from your diet, your resting metabolic rate will automatically slow down because your body now assumes you’re starving.”

Even though these low-calorie diets may make it appear that you are losing weight, you should note that the weight that usually comes off is from muscle mass. And the lower your muscle mass is, the slower your metabolism will be…which brings us to our next point.

Build Muscle

The resting metabolic weight of those who are muscular will be higher than people who do not have as much muscle. Resistance training causes your muscles to activate all over your body, and therefore, increases your metabolism.

Drink Water and Milk

Even mild dehydration can cause your metabolism to slow down. Drinking lots of water, or eating foods high in water content (such as fresh fruit and vegetables), can help prevent this from happening.

According to Michael Zemel, PhD, Director of Nutrition Institute at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, “Calcium, along with other substances in dairy, actually revs up your metabolism, telling your body to burn excess fat faster.”

Become a Grazer

Surprising as it may sound, eating consistently throughout the day can actually help you lose weight when compared with three large meals a day. Having a small meal or snack every couple of hours keeps your metabolism moving.

Consume Protein

Protein is made up of amino acids, which are harder for your body to digest. Because your body will be working harder, it will be using more energy to digest, and therefore, giving your metabolism an extra boost.

Try a Diet Supplement

How to Boost your Metabolism The best diet pills will help boost your metabolism.

LipoFuze, a diet supplement, helps you lose weight by burning fat, suppressing your appetite, and boosting your metabolism. Plus, it comes with a money-back guarantee!

Does Soda Make You Gain Weight?

Does Soda Make You Gain Weight?

What used to be a drink that was indulged in only on special occasions, soda has become a daily treat for most Americans.

In fact, recent statistics from the National Center for Health show that as many as half of the people in our nation over the age of 2 will drink a sugary drink daily.

Whether it’s soda, sweetened water, energy drink, sports aid, or even fruit juice, this report has linked these high calorie beverages to “poor diet quality, weight gain, obesity, and in adults, type 2 diabetes.”

Soda Can Account for 20 Pounds in One Year

Those who consumed sugary drinks like soda daily generally consumed about 250 more calories than they were supposed to each day. By eating just 250 more calories than you are burning, you will gain 26 pounds in one year.

In order to stay within reasonable health, the American Heart Association has recommended no more than three 12 ounce cans of soda per week. This regulation is the maximum for soda intake as this will still account for 450 calories per week, which would be almost 7 pounds over a year.

Soda Intake Has Grown Exponentially in the Last 3 Decades

Along with the rise of obesity, Americans’ soda intake has shot through the roof. From the 1970s when intake among children and teens was at 37%, it grew to 56% in the 1990s and is now approaching 70% in the first decade of 2000.

This habit of drinking our calories has significantly contributed to the obesity epidemic. Not only does it increase the amount of calories we consume, but they are empty calories that don’t add any nutrients.

So How Do We Reverse the Effects of Soda on Our Nation?

lipofuzeFor some people it might be as easy as eliminating soda from their diets.

In the government buildings of some states soda has been banned from vending machines and some schools have kicked them from their campus, all in an attempt to cut calories from their diet.

However, for other people, there has already been so many stored calories from years of soda intake that it might seem too daunting of a task to lose all that weight.

Fortunately, there is help available. With all the strides the diet industry has taken, there are no weight loss pills that can help increase your metabolism so that your diet efforts are more heavily rewarded.

After researching all the best weight loss pills, we’ve found the most effective supplement for your diet and exercise is LipoFuze.

Its formula helps speed up your metabolism, but it also helps urge your body to burn fat rather than store extra energy.

Rather than falling victim to the obesity trend, stand up and fight for the body you’ve always dreamed of.

The Oatmeal Diet

the oatmeal diet

Ever consider the fact that the newest, most exciting form of weight loss might come in the most boring of breakfast items?

We didn’t either, but a new diet trend is to rely on the heart healthy powers of oatmeal to reshape your body.

How to Do It

The First Seven Days

In order to get the best results, the brains behind the oatmeal diet recommend that you eat nothing but ½ cup oatmeal meals for the first seven days of the diet.

Of course, this oatmeal must be whole oatmeal, rather than instant processed meals or oatmeal found in sugary granola bars. They are not completely unreasonable, though, on the oatmeal diet you are allowed to supplement the oats with ½ cup of skim milk if you so please.

If you are eating nothing but oatmeal it should be fairly easy to track your calories. But nevertheless, the oatmeal diet plan also recommends that you limit your daily allotment of calories to be between 900 and 1,200.

The Next Thirty Days

After those initial seven days, the oatmeal diet loosens up a little and you are allowed to just incorporate a ½ cup of cooked oatmeal into your meals.

Even though you can eat instant oatmeal and oatmeal bars, you are still supposed to keep your calorie count between 1,000 and 1,300 for the thirty days.

However, you are encouraged to eat healthy snacks between the three meals. For instance, you might consider some raw fruits or vegetables; although starchy fruits and vegetables like melons and potatoes should be avoided.

As with most diets, the oatmeal diet suggests that you exercise at least 30 minutes three to five times a week, and drink eight 8 oz. glasses of water every day.

After Thirty Days

When your month of oats is over, the diet recommends that you slowly ease yourself onto a low fat diet that just includes oatmeal at one point in the day.

Does It Work?

lipofuzeAlthough you might lose weight initially on the oatmeal diet simply because of the low calorie count, we think it would be extremely hard to keep it off, and you will most likely end up gaining more weight than you lost.

Any diet that tells you to restrict your calories as low as the oatmeal one does will force your body into starvation mode; meaning that you may lose weight initially, but you will end up slowing your metabolism so that when you start incorporating more calories your body will store them all as fat.

If you’re not interested in yo-yo dieting, or fad diets, you might be interested in weight loss pills. Diet pills are more advanced now than they ever have been, and one that we have found to be extremely impressive is LipoFuze.

LipoFuze, when paired with a healthy diet and exercise regimen, has been shown to be much more effective than a militant diet that is not sustainable for long amounts of time.

5 Supplements Every Man Needs to Stay Healthy

five things every man needs to stay healthyAs nice as it would be to “Get RIPPED!” and have those “Rock-hard Abs!” , let’s face it: it takes a lot of work make it through the average day, let alone have time to hit the gym on a regular basis.

Sculpting and toning those muscles require a lot of determination and discipline. It’s easier to just come home and crash on the couch, maybe watch a movie with some buddies, or maybe just close your eyes for a bit and. . .

Woops.

Dozed off for a second there.

However, just because the average guy is a little chubby ‘round his middle, doesn’t mean he has to let his engine run on empty. There are 5 basic supplements that every man needs but probably isn’t getting in a diet of pizza and mountain dew.

Coenzyme Q10

If you’re struggling to keep your energy levels up, there’s the possibility that your Coenzyme Q10 levels are down. Your body produces this coenzyme naturally, and it helps to manage your body’s energy supply. However, as we get older, production of coenzyme Q10 slows down, and the only way to bring it back up again is by taking a supplement.

Chromium

True, you can find chromium in most muscle-building supplements, but taking chromium is one of the best things you can do for your body, especially if you’re overweight. Chromium regulates your insulin levels, which makes it easier to keep blood-sugar levels under control.

Calcium

five things every man needs to stay healthyGot Milk?

We all know that calcium is essential for strong bones and teeth. But did you know that calcium can also help reduce high blood pressure?

The daily recommended amount of calcium is 1,000mg. You need at least three servings of dairy a day in order to reach that, so don’t skimp on the cheese next time you order a pizza.

Creatine

Also common to diet pills, creatine is excellent for boosting muscle and memory. Don’t believe me? Studies have shown that men who had been taking creatine for just 2 to 3 months were able to increase their bench presses by an average of 15lbs and their squats by 21 pounds. So for the days you do manage to make it up off the couch, Creatine will help you build those muscles faster.

Boron

No. Boron isn’t a slang term for a boring moron, no matter how awful you think this article is. Boron is vital mineral that can protect your prostate from cancer, which is, of course, a very good thing. If you can’t find a supplement you like that contains Boron, try snacking on some trail mix—the raisins and almonds are a great source of Boron.

Lipofuze

lipofuzeThere. That wasn’t too hard. Five supplements are easy to remember right? If you can squeeze these supplements into your diet along with a little bit of exercise now and then, you should be good to go. However, you honestly didn’t expect me to talk about supplements without at least pointing out that the best diet pills for men are the ones that help you lose a little weight along the way.

Of course, Lipofuze looks like it’s designed for the already toned athlete. In fact, there isn’t a single mildly chubby guy anywhere on their homepage. BUT! Lipofuze is actually one of the best fat burners and muscle builders designed for men. Real men. Not necessarily beefy, bulging gym- monkeys.

In addition to supplying your body with a few of the basic 5 (chromium and creatine), Lipofuze contains additional ingredients that will boost your metabolism, helping you to lose weight without losing muscle. Take a little before your next workout, and you’ll see the results.

How to Lose Fat the Easy Way

How to Lose Fat the Easy Way

Most people would answer that exercise is the only way to achieve weight loss. Others would say that dieting is vital, or at least eating less than you use.

And despite the proof that diet and exercise are powerful ways to help you lose weight, most people want to know the answer to one common question. Is there an easy way out?

People want to know if there really is an easier and faster way to lose fat and shed some extra weight. So is there?

Surgery

The absolute fastest way to lose weight the easy way is through a surgery. Whether it’s liposuction, gastric bypass or any of the related procedures, you can walk in fat and walk out skinny.

However, it’s not as simple as that. Surgery is expensive, and carries with it health risks, such as injury. “Stomach stapling” will cause the patient to eat less and lose weight, but little is done to the appetite, meaning the patient can over-eat and tear the staples out.

As well, candidates must be in a certain medical condition before the surgery. Contrary to popular belief, liposuction does not remove a very large amount amount of fat but is primarily responsible for shaping areas of the body. Reports of 50 pounds of fat being removed are very exaggerated.

Colon Cleansers

Though these are not designed to be a weight loss tool, many people turn to them for quick results. Many companies the market colon cleansing products will cater to these people, claiming that their product can instantly remove up to 20 pounds.

Unfortunately, this is very false. Most people, even less-healthy ones, have properly functioning digestive tracts. There is no buildup of “junk” in the intestines. However, because people can see instant “results” (with an increased stool count) they may think that this was waste the body couldn’t handle properly.

Colon cleansers are laxatives (even those that use other ingredients or methods). That means they simply speed up the food in your digestive tract before it has time to digest it. Prolonged use will result in mal-nutrition and dehydration, not to mention gastro-intestinal failures.

Supplements

Weight loss the easy way can really only be achieved in dietary supplements, or weight-loss pills. Many natural and pharmaceutical ingredients have been shown to promote weight loss without any improvements in diet or exercise.

Far from the magic pill, though, these ingredients have their limitations. Appetite suppressors wear off after a couple weeks as the body gets used to them, and thermogenics (which increase the metabolism) can over-stimulate the body and do harm. About the only type of pill prescribed by doctors is the fat binding type, which has some unsightly side effects.

Is There an Easy Way?

There are, but each comes with a cost. For those who want weight loss the easy way, discuss with a doctor about adding to your dieting and exercise a weight loss supplement or procedure.

Phenterex

Phenterex
Prescription grade, benefits like no other, amazing breakthrough weight loss pill, these are all terms that have been used to describe Phenterex. Phenterex is supposedly a diet pill that will “help you to lose weight fast and reshape your body easily by melting away flab, fat, and cellulite”, and if you believe that Phenterex easily beats out the competition, leaving no doubt, it’s a lot easier for Phenterex to make sales, regardless of the price.

Phenterex is described as a multifunctional approach that basically takes every possible approach to positive weight loss results. But is there one diet pill that can really do all of this at once?

How Does Phenterex Work?

The simple answer to that, yes and no. On one hand, Phenterex does have at least one ingredient capable of promoting some serious weight loss results. But for good reason, that ingredient has always been tested in combination with diet and exercise. You cannot lose weight without healthy diet and exercise, unless you have a serious medical condition.

Yes, Phenterex has definitely overstepped its bounds. And it does not actually have the clinically proven amounts of most of its ingredients. But it does have the clinically proven amounts of one called Irvingia Gabonensis, which is just 150mg. So on its own, it could help some people.

Dicaffeine malate – Dicaffeine malate is a natural buffered fat burner that can help you to lose weight and improve body composition. It eliminates excess fat cells, and it also increases energy. But it is buffered to reduce the risk of side effects.

Chocamine – Chocamine is a natural antioxidant derived from chocolate. It is considered to be extremely healthy and a good addition to any weight loss pill.

Irvingia Gabonensis – This is probably the most powerful ingredient in Phenterex or most other diet pills that happen to use it. It burns fat, suppresses appetite, and increases energy at the same time while controlling obesity hormones.

Phenylethylamine – Phenylethylamine works as a natural appetite suppressant that also lifts mood.

Synephrine – Synephrine is so powerful it has been compared to ephedrine, but safer. It requires about 250mg as opposed to the 20mg that Phenterex actually uses. It’s a pretty staggering difference. But it can still increase energy and cause side effects.

Humulus lupus – Humulus lupus is mostly used to lift mood and improve sleep patterns.

Phenterex Side Effects

Phenterex side effects include headaches, jitteriness, nervousness, irritability, insomnia, indigestion, nausea, dizziness, anxiety, facial flushing, insomnia, headache, drowsiness, dry mouth, and an elevated heartbeat.
